Why me? I have been doing this for 30 years.

My superpower: I know how to help leaders outperform. I understand how small groups work. And I know the simple skills, perspectives, and practices that turn a handful of well-meaning people into a high-performing team.

I help leaders develop this superpower. I get to the heart of a client’s challenges quickly–in 3 to 10 sessions, rarely more. We get the skills in place, move them into the team, and build the culture together.

The goal is to make those practices almost unconscious...you will become that skillful and powerful person you always wanted to be, leading effortlessly, and calmly.

About Me

  • I have been in leadership development for over 30 years, first as co-founder and CEO of the Rockwood Leadership Institute and afterward as a Managing Partner at the Batchery, a business incubator in California.

  • I teach a course on leadership for the early-stage founders at the Batchery

  • I coach leaders in for-profits, non-profits and government agencies.

  • I am particularly interested in helping people who are working to make the world a better place through their philanthropy, activism, or businesses.
